Meeting of the Like-minded Institutes

A meeting of the like-minded institutes was held in Delhi on 28 October 2012. The institutes which participated were Joshi-Adhikari Institute (Delhi), Kedar Das Institute (Patna), NCBH and other Institutions (Chennai), NRR Centre and CR Foundation (Andhra Pradesh) and Achyuta Menon Foundation (Kerala). In the year 2009, Joshi-Adhikari Institute undertook a primary survey to study the production and marketing trajectories of marginal farmers across the country. The purpose was to understand the breakdown of their fragile livelihood equilibrium under the neo-liberal policy frame. Peace Initiative Workshop of Medical Students

A “PEACE INITIATIVE WORKSHOP” of medical students organized by the IDPD for young doctors was held at New Delhi on 3rd and 4th April 2010 in AITUC building. The objective of the workshop was to have a detailed interaction with the medical students on the issues of peace initiatives and promotion of healthy environment and to plan strategies of action for the coming period.
